Though I may never see you again, you’re the only one. To say he lost track of the time was not entirely true. Riku failed to lose track of time lately, it always seemed that time was going to slow. Kairi and Sora were missing again, it wasn't the first time they'd missed each other. After all they'd been traveling all over the worlds, placing the locks. Removing the locks on the worlds, and everything in between. All the things they'd done seemed for nothing now. Riku felt tension digging into his back like heartless claws. Really for the silver haired male this was not part of his plan. All he was supposed to do was reach out, train keybladers. But negative, dark thoughts always had the worst time ever to lurk in the back of his mind. It was times like this he missed the island. Sitting there teasing Sora about his crush on Kairi if he even still had that. Riku tapped his fingers on the table absentmindedly, getting lost in his thoughts about Sora's exam and his failing of it. Then also the training he needed to do, just who would he train next. Riku's focus was anything if not distracted. What would happen next was up in the air. Yes he might be able to control things, and he had no plans to give up now. They could save the world again, it was not like they hadn't already done it. He just wanted Sora and Kairi by his side, mostly Sora though the stubborn male refused to admit that portion. It made his heart beat faster and his stomach twist like he was sick suddenly. Nerves perhaps, though Riku seemed to be better at usually hiding his nerves unless Sora kept pressuring him. Whatever trouble was Sora getting into now? He could just picture him running around, smacking heartless and other things with his keyblade. How many buildings had he run into because of his lack of concentration. It was adorable to picture, anything but goofy and happy Sora would be hard to picture.  "Oh Rikuuu~" Sora stood against one of the square's lamp posts, smiling. It hasn't been too long since his Mark of Mastery failure, Sora had decided he needed to see more worlds. Attain more experience so he can prove to Yen Sid (and more importantly Riku), that he was just as reliable as the rest. He didn't want to be left behind. "Or should I say Master Riku." Sora put his hands behind his back, his mouth opening into a cheesy grin. He didn't take it personally that Riku passed and he didn't, it just meant he had to work much harder. And despite the tedious trials they've been through, Sora never had to deal with the true depths of darkness. Sora's only been there once before, when he needed to release his heart in order to save Kairi, turning him into a Heartless. I definitely never want to go back there again.. he thought idly. Riku was trapped in such a cold desolate place, devoid of love but full of hatred. Sora came to Traverse Town to take a small reprieve before heading out. Donald and Goofy owned the gummi ship, so Sora's been using the newly built Starlight Express to get around everywhere. This is the first place I visited. he thought, remembering the very beginning of it all, that first night he woke up after the islands were swallowed up darkness. That's when he lost Riku and Kairi for the first time. "I bet your dealing with important buisness, huh?" Now that Riku's a Master, he had a lot more responsibility. Secret meetings with Yen Sid discussing the realms of light and darkness, and blah blah blah. He sorta felt left out. Wasn't he the one who defeated Xehanort's first reincarnation? TAG: Riku |

Though I may never see you again, you’re the only one. The voice reached his ears before he saw Sora, really Sora never did know how to be quiet. His loud mouth ways did cause a few issues when they were younger though both boys just laughed about that when it happened. Riku would not go out of his way to speak about the master exam. Sora would pass eventually he just let his ego get the better of him, thinking he could do it with no problem because he saved the world. However Riku smirked as his friend and took a deep breathe for a moment. "Hah, look who finally decided to crawl out and join the world. Did you enjoy your beauty sleep princess." As usual Riku took the time to tease Sora, that brunette always found some way or another to ask for it. So he would not hold back. Riku slipped his hands into his pockets to stop them from tapping on the table because of his slightly frayed nerves. No need to alert Sora to that, but the boy was also a bit oblivious so perhaps he'd just miss it. Riku could only wonder how long he'd be standing there looking like a dork. However he smirked, wondering if he should comment about that or anything anyway. Maybe he'd be able to use Sora a little to get his mind off of things. "Oh please it's just a title." He didn't want to lie though it did make him feel like his chest was swelling slightly with pride. However he would keep that quiet for now, though Sora likely already had some idea. Riku reached over and pinched Sora's cheeks pulling on them with just two of his fingers. Really Sora was just a little dork but it was his nature as always it seemed. "Important business, sure let's say that. Because wanting to eat with my best friend is really important business." He laughed a little, his fingers still tugging at Sora's cheeks. Really this was making him feel a bit better and less stressed. It had to be a plus now didn't it? At least he wouldn't have to worry about this too much hopefully. Sora seemed to be cheerful but could he just be hiding how he was feeling right now? It might not matter but still Riku couldn't help wondering. He wished he could include Sora more perhaps, but that was not his choice.Since when had he ever listened to other people's suggestions though. SoraMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS |

Sora scoffed; "Hey! It takes about nine hours of sleep a day for me to have this face!" he teased back, sticking out his tongue. They always had such lame bantering, but Sora rather liked that about their friendship. Riku shrugged off the 'Master' comment, but Sora half expected it. Old Riku would rub it in his face, but the new and mature Riku would shrug it off and make it seem like it wasn't such a big deal. Sora knew otherwise, but he appreciated the sentiment. "Ow~" Sora winced when Riku pinched his cheek; Man, he always likes to torture me like this. It was all in good fun but jeez, can't a kid get a break around here? But when Riku admitted he just wanted to eat with his best friend, Sora stopped protesting. The sentence struck a cord inside him. Sora's relationship with Riku was...... Difficult to explain. There have been really intense moments between them, moments that have blurred the lines between friendship and.... something else. It reached a new level of intimacy after the final battle with Xemnas. The two of them nearly died fighting and the moment they shared on the beach. Sora didn't even have any private moments like that with Kairi, despite the fact he had such a crush on her back when his journey first started. But that's the thing, first started. As of now, Sora still cared about Kairi, and sure a part of him still had feelings for her but...It failed in comparison to his relationship with Riku. And that scared Sora. Though I may never see you again, you’re the only one. Nine hours? Nine hours, really Sora. He was so adorable when he'd play around like that but Riku didn't comment. Really he was just such a little dork who could sleep through just about anything. The building could be falling down and Sora would be there snoring away. Probably to the point of where Riku had to carry him out over his shoulder. Or Princess style. "Those nine hours don't seem to be enough, you still look like a clown to me." Riku was only teasing, Sora knew that. His comments that he actually meant would sound rude compared to what he was saying right now. The relationship they had was a bit different then the one with Kairi, maybe it secretly should concern them about ruining the friendship for any reason. But after all they'd already been through it wouldn't likely happen. For Riku, the master title wasn't that huge of a deal. He also wanted Sora to pass but Sora had to learn things before he could pass it, that was not something Riku could make him do. He could nudge him along slightly but in the end it was all up to Sora. No one else really. For this moment he thought about how Sora was doing with that, but perhaps he'd rather just not end up asking him either. Riku's fingers released Sora's skin as he wiped his hands on his pants. Riku only wanted to go eat though he didn't eat much lately. Stress was good at keeping his mind on other things, though he never really did discuss how he felt. Right now there were more important things to think about. "Jeez Sora, cat got your tongue. Come on let's go, That's not a bad thing for you to hear is it? Or does that make you flustered?" Riku was still teasing, but he couldn't help wondering why Sora said that. Just the way that little brunette said it was a bit concerning. But maybe it was him just reading into it a lot more then he needed to after all right? He'd rather take Sora elsewhere, get his minds off of things now. Riku walked ahead of Sora, only glancing back to see if he was following. Really Riku knew Sora would follow eventually. He still couldn't help but think about the way Sora said that. There's Riku again, always playing off everything. But Sora couldn't really point a finger at him because he was just as guilty. The clown comment went right over Sora's shoulder, he wasn't in a joking mood anymore. "I'm confused Riku." The boy didn't know how to figure out these feelings welling deep inside his heart. Sora couldn't even bare to look up at him, just staring into his eyes....It just trigged a surge of emotions he didn't understand. "But anyways, I'm hungry too." Sora tried to dismiss it. He didn't want Riku thinking he was weak and vulnerable. "Let's get a table." The two sat down at the infamous outside cafe as a waitress brought them a pair of menus. The scene was a bit...romantic. All the tables were candlelit and all the guests was were engaged in intimate conversation. "Let's see....I kinda want a turkey sandwich and fries. With ranch and buffalo sauce mmmmm!" Slowly Sora's cheer slowly came back, so hopefully Riku wouldn't think too much of his random mood swings. Sora loved fast food, cheese burgers, tacos, and fries dripped in ranch. He remembered the trio would go to this really awesome burger stand back on Destiny Islands. TAG: Riku |

Though I may never see you again, you’re the only one. He could almost sense the sudden mood shift in Sora, he was usually cheerful. Even when he failed his exam the boy was still smiling, so if he was confused. What was he confused about now? Riku didn't really approach many situations delicately, it wasn't in his nature to do those things. Past experiences were not lying about that part. However just because he matured, and sometimes knew when not to do things didn't mean he would not push Sora to talk. Say something more then he was just confused. "Confused, about what?" He asked though Riku had a feeling Sora wouldn't tell him. Forcing that out of Sora might be easy enough. He knew this boy rather well after all the time they'd be together. Riku thought that he said something bad. However the silver haired male didn't push it. He didn't know what to say about it. Emotions and discussing things was never something he was good at. When he got angry or anything he'd cover it up. Or he'd hold a little grudge sometimes against the person who had caused that emotion to surface. So learning how to handle Sora's was a work in progress sort of thing. He'd have to figure it out at some point but now, it just wasn't happening yet. "Yea sure let's get a table. One closer to the back." Riku didn't explain why, he just hinted at it then walked with his hands stuffed in his pockets. "You still eat a lot huh? Hm...let's see." He looked over the menu to figure out what he wanted. Really Riku was starving, he could probably eat a giant horse or something if he didn't have other things on his mind. But for now he'd pass that off. He did not want to pay much attention to Sora's mood, but he couldn't exactly ignore it either. He could have before when he was younger and yet now he wasn't that young. So it wouldn't happen. This really was almost like being back on the islands. How he might have missed being there for only a few moments. Riku still wanted to explore the worlds around them though, with Sora. SoraMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS |

Sora dismissed Riku's question, he just wanted to pretend he didn't say anything. "I'm as hungry as a cow! Which um, makes me want a burger actually. A cheeseburger...Mmmm.." Yes, yes! Let the thoughts of big juicy meat patty distract him from his angsty feelings towards Riku. Nobody got time for that! Sora just wanted everything to be normal, but what he didn't know was that 'normality' was a concept beyond impossible at this point. "So where are you going off to Riku? Stay around town or are you heading off?" Sora didn't want to press on, Yen Sid made it specifically clear Riku couldn't discuss any Master business with anyone but grand wizard himself. ".....Or is that subject off limits cause your a Master now?" God, I feel like such an idiot. Sora couldn't help himself, Riku was just so far ahead now, it seemed fruitless to even try and catch up with him. A wave of anxiety surged through his chest; "Definitely gotta get fries! And a ranch, and a side of buffalo. Ever try that Riku? Buffalo and ranch sauce together? Makes a great dip!" he blurted out. Man, he was talking way to much and way to fast. Sora just wanted to crawl under a rock and die. He knew he shouldn't feel this way. But what about Riku? What was he thinking? What did he think about all this? Probably nothing. Riku wasn't the type to unveil his emotions so easily, so figuring him out takes a lot of work. So much work it'll give him a nosebleed. TAG: Riku |

Why did he have to be that way, all he wanted was a fine moment. Something that wasn't too bad and they'd be able to at least have fun. Even with everything going on around them at this moment in time anyway. He would make it up to Sora somehow, once he learned what was going on. There had to be something there, whatever it was Riku would eventually figure out. Sora could not hide things from him forever that was for sure. "Yea yea of course you could. Mr. Endless appetite and all." He was trying to be normal and just tease him. Riku still had plans to find out what Sora was up to though, and what he was worrying about. There was no way his mood would shift like that and it just be nothing. Past experiences warned him of that obviously. "A cheeseburger or two sounds really good. You think that's what you want?" Really he wasn't too bothered by it. He just wanted to figure out what was going on next. Really he needed to figure out what Sora was thinking, or what he wanted. Honestly this was all too confusing for Riku, he did his best to learn about his friend's emotions. After he'd realized just how wrong he was when he first left the islands. He was not exactly very proper with Sora not that he tried to be anyway. He was not good at those things, it was shown in how he acted anyway really. He didn't entirely miss his time on the Island though, he was glad to be off of it sometimes. Sora's voice snapped him out of his thoughts suddenly, he didn't think he'd have started talking that fast. "Huh? Oh, I'm not entirely sure. I'm staying here till I hear anything else, my choice really." He wanted to stay with Sora, Riku just didn't hint at that too much. "That subject is only off limits if I decide it is." That was all he said, he would rather not deal with this. It was already not a bad thing, however for Riku he'd have to figure it out some other way. Like it'd even matter or get him anywhere either. Sora was acting strange again, that was something he noticed. However he'd rather not talk about that, it would probably not matter because Sora wasn't going to talk to him about it. He'd have to force it out of him later. When they were further away from the public eye. He'd just have to keep Sora momentarily distracted. "No I really haven't, maybe I'll try it this time huh? It does sound rather interesting. We should order now and eat, I have somewhere else I want us to go." Riku said in that absentminded way he always did.
